Marian Engineering College Auditorium was the first building built based on green technology. The entire building is circular in share and hence engineering wise took a lot of careful planning and execution.
Total station method was adopted for fixing the footings, columns and beams while the grid bean cum slab method was adopted for roof slab works. Wall cladding works using the best quality country burnt bricks using anti-fungal coating was done to an original aesthetic feeling.
Marian Engineering College Auditorium – an area of 12,245 sq.ft. – was built in a record time of six months. A peak workforce of 120 were motivated to complete this building to the complete satisfaction of the management of Marian Engineering College.
This auditorium can seat about 500 students in theatre style. The acoustics of the hall have been well appreciated by one and all.
